City of Fremont Launches NEW Public Records Management Software
This week, the City of Fremont began using NextRequest, a software program that allows members of the public to submit a request, communicate with City staff, and track public records requests online. The new software will help streamline requests with efficiency, allowing staff to fulfill records requests all in one place for cross-departmental coordination. Over time, the portal will also allow users to search for published public records requests and documents.
We encourage requestors to access the new software online or via the City Clerk’s webpage.
During this year's 4th of July holiday weekend, several City departments, including Fremont Fire Department, Fremont Police Department, and Parks and Recreation Services, worked in collaboration to deploy additional public safety resources for fireworks enforcement. The City is grateful for the community's support in reporting illegal fireworks activities, thus allowing our departments to respond to these activities before they result in any serious injuries or damages to lives and properties. Learn more about our enforcement effort.
