The planning process for the Centerville Complete Streets project is concluding and the project's preferred design alternatives will be presented to the community before seeking approval from the Fremont City Council on February 8.
Join us at the upcoming Virtual Community Meeting #4 for this project next week:
Wednesday, January 26 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm
The meeting will be conducted on Zoom, and meeting participants can join by desktop, tablet, or phone.
Fremont is continuing the once-in-a-decade opportunity to redefine City district lines, and we need community input. The next virtual hearing on Tuesday, February 15, at 7:15 pm gives residents the opportunity to share their thoughts on proposed maps, election sequencing, and the impact redistricting could have on their community.

The Olive Hyde Art Gallery is opening the new year with Journey of Color, featuring the works of Taiwanese contemporary artist, May Shei. May works as a multifaceted art professional; teaching, creating, and showcasing her works in solo exhibitions and art competitions around the world. Graduating in the arts from both the Tainan University of Technology as well as the Chinese Culture University in the Arts, she uses her knowledge and natural feel to create exquisite, inviting pieces that show the colorful world of her interpretations of Chinese culture, history, and the abstracted. Born in a small town in southern Taiwan, May Shei brings the richness of her country's history into her artwork. Her paintings elegantly blend the traditional techniques of Asian art-making with her new contemporary processes. She often portrays the creatures of her childhood as well as ancient figures from Taiwan's cultural history. May's collection of work in Journey of Color examines the abstract, the natural, and the ways in which they collide with our modern world.
The Olive Hyde Art Gallery is located on 123 Washington Blvd in Fremont. For more information, visit our website or call 510-791-4357
