CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITY
As a part of the 9.1-mile Foothill Gold Line light rail project, KPJV will be working evening and overnight hours for two consecutive weekends to complete the removal of falsework on the new light rail bridge in the City of Glendora. This work requires a full closure of Route 66 between Hunters Trail and Compromise Line Rd. during the following two weekends: SEPTEMBER 9 – 12, 2022 & SEPTEMBER 16 – 19, 2022.
WHEN
Route 66 between Hunters Trail and Compromise Line Rd. will be fully closed to all traffic (vehicular and pedestrian).
- Friday, September 9th at 7:00 PM thru Monday, September 12th at 5:00 AM and
- Friday, September 16th at 7:00 PM thru Monday, September 19th at 5:00 AM
TRAFFIC ADVISORIES
- Full closure of Route 66 to all traffic (vehicular and pedestrian) between Hunters Trail and Compromise Line Rd. for two consecutive weekends. Use detour routes.
- Access to businesses and residential areas will be maintained at all times.
PLAN YOUR ROUTE AND BE PREPARED
A detour route (see map below) will be in place during the full closure and signage will be posted to direct motorists, trucks and pedestrians. Please follow detour signs.
- Gladstone St. (eastbound and westbound) will remain open and serve as a detour route, see details below.
- Grand Ave., Lone Hill Ave, and Loraine Ave. (northbound and southbound) will remain open and serve as detour routes.
NOTE TO RESIDENTS / BUSINESS OWNERS
Noise from construction equipment will be produced near the active work zones. Work hours will be during nighttime hours.
- Foothill Transit Bus service along Lone Hill Ave., Foothill Blvd., & Loraine Ave. will be temporarily relocated to:
- WB 188 – Lone Hill Ave. & Route 66 (NE Corner)
- EB & WB 18 – Route 66 & Elwood Ave. (existing stops)
- CLOSED – Stops between Loraine Ave. & Lope Ln.

Please obey all posted construction signs and do not enter the construction work zone.
