Photo: Barranca Ave. railroad crossing in Glendora
The Construction Authority is pleased to announce that the railroad crossing at Barranca Ave. in Glendora has reopened to motorists and pedestrians today. Crews over the past week completed the work necessary to reopen the street, including building the light rail tracks and relocated freight track and reconstructing the roadway, medians, curbs, gutters and sidewalks. This follows months of hard work and improvements made at the crossing, including the upgrading and relocation or protection of numerous underground utilities and a host of other safety improvements.
Thank you to all those that have been impacted by the closure for your patience and understanding.
