Coming to your District!
Mayor Catherine "Cat" Moy and the Fairfield City Council will be visiting each district as part of a "Listening Tour”.
These meetings will give residents the chance to interact with elected officials more closely, meet department heads and staff, learn about City projects, ask questions, and provide input.
There will be one meeting each month for a total of seven. The first date of the Listening Tour will be Saturday, March 25, in District 5 at Bethel Community Church, 600 E. Tabor Avenue, from 11 am to 1 pm.

 Calling all Poets
Join Poets Laureate from Solano County on Saturday, April 1 from 10-12pm at the pond behind the Civic Center Library for "A Pageantry of Poetry".
Three Poets Laureate from Solano County will do a reading from 10-11 am and there will be an open mic from 11-12 pm for anyone who wants to share.
Harpist Dotty Schenk will also perform.

 Prescription Drug Take Back
The Fairfield Police Department is teaming up with the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration- DEA to provide the public a with a safe, convenient, and responsible way to dispose of expired, unused, unwanted, and potentially dangerous prescription drugs.
Join us Saturday, April 22nd at our Drive-Thru event in front of the police station at 1000 Webster St. Look for the traffic cones and follow the guidance of police staff onsite.
Have your medications ready for drop off in a Ziploc bag or the original container. We accept liquids, pills and patches. No Sharps (syringes, needles) will be accepted at this event.
This service is free and anonymous, no questions asked. For year-round drop off locations, visit here.

Now that we're having a break in the rain, it's the perfect time to find out what zone you're in and sign up to receive timely emergency information. Just this week, we had road closures and used this tool to alert residents.
To find your zone, click here and enter your address into the interactive map using the search bar in the upper left. This will open a pop-up window, which includes the zone name and any emergency information about the zone
