EL SEGUNDO, Calif. — (Sept. 23, 2026) — CHAOS Industries, a defense-tech company that designs and manufactures advanced radar, sensor, effector, and network systems on U.S. soil, cut the ribbon yesterday on a new 100,000-square foot headquarters in El Segundo’s Smoky Hollow district. The warehouse-style building on Oregon Street features 400 new workstations, ~30 conference rooms, and has capacity to hold approximately 450+ employees.

"CHAOS Industries' success reflects the density and vibrance of the El Segundo economy," said El Segundo Mayor Chris Pimentel. "We’ve been fortunate to see the incredible growth and dynamism of CHAOS and are honored to be their new home. Our history in aerospace, our world leading defense sector, and the unparalleled expertise in this city create an environment where innovative companies get founded, get funded, and grow into the future."

The expansion follows a period of growth for CHAOS, including its recent acquisition of Atropos Group, an aerospace company developing autonomous aerial weapon systems. The new facility adds to CHAOS’ presence across the Los Angeles area, which includes manufacturing facilities in Hawthorne and El Segundo and an office in Hermosa Beach. Together, the company’s Los Angeles County facilities span more than 235,000 square feet. CHAOS also has offices in Washington, DC, San Diego and San Francisco, California, and London.

“CHAOS is growing at a rapid pace, and this new building offers expanded space for engineering talent, functional teams, and administrative operations to sit under one roof, just a few miles from our main manufacturing facility,” said John Tenet, CHAOS co-founder and CEO. “This celebration is for yet another CHAOS investment in Los Angeles County, California, cementing our commitment to the area.”
