March 14, 2 p.m. El Segundo Public Library Community Room
You're invited to a free concert performance by the Itty Bitty Big Band!
The Itty Bitty Big Band plays fresh, cool arrangements from the Great American Songbook, compositions written by jazz giants, and even versions of popular tunes by the Beatles and Steely Dan. This repertoire showcases the musicians’ improvisational skills and their joy in sharing this truly original American art form called jazz! All are performed with appreciation by this group of excellent and experienced Los Angeles area musicians.

New Anti-Camping Ordinance
City Council approved a new anti-camping ordinance that began enforcement this month.
The ordinance:
- Expands the list of locations where camping is prohibited in the City to also include limited portions of nonresidential private property, including within 20 feet of an entrance or exit to a building that abuts a public sidewalk and on privately owned parking lots.
- Applies the "removal of campsite" procedures currently in the El Segundo Municipal Codes to those campsites on private property.
These changes will make it easier for El Segundo Police to access the encampments of homeless individuals on nonresidential properties and connect them with services and support through the PATCHES program.
