 Tiny Tot Tea Party
Saturday, Feb. 14 10 a.m. - 12 p.m.
Children ages 18 months to 4 years with an accompanying adult are invited to join us at the George E. Gordon Clubhouse (300 E. Pine Ave.) for refreshments, snacks, crafts, games, and more!
Fancy dress and costumes are encouraged!
This event is pre-sale only. Wristbands are available for purchase for $10 per person at the Clubhouse. For more information, call 310-524-2362.

E-Bike Safety Course
Feb. 21, 10 a.m.
The El Segundo Police Department welcomes E-Bike Sense and their certified league cycling instructor for a short presentation on e-bike safety, followed by a skills course. The instructor will provide information on how to safely ride an e-bike, related laws, and recommended equipment. All you need to bring is your e-bike and a helmet! Space is limited!

Tax Assistance
Tuesdays through April 14
El Segundo is partnering with AARP Foundation Tax-Aide to offer free tax assistance at the Joslyn Center. Trained volunteers will be on hand Tuesdays from Feb. 3 through April 14 to help eligible residents with federal and state tax returns. Appointments are recommended. Call the Joslyn Senior Center at 310-524-2705.

Teen Center Snow Trip
March 6, Register by Feb. 15
The El Segundo Teen Center’s annual trip to Snow Summit is open to teens in grades 6 -12. $89.60 for residents/$122 for non-residents includes a lift ticket and transportation to and from the mountain or ride the bus only for $31. Meet at the Teen Center for drop-off and pick-up. We’ll finish the day with a stop at Raising Cane’s on the way home.

Lunar New Year Tea Blending Workshop
Feb. 17, 6 p.m.
The El Segundo Public Library is celebrating Lunar New Year with a free presentation on tea. Learn about the Lunar New Year celebration, how to properly brew tea, and popular flavor combinations. Participants will discover their own blend of tea to take home and enjoy.

Tween Scene
Feb. 23, 3 - 4 p.m.
Meet up with your friends at the Library, enjoy snacks, and craft together in this new program just for tweens in grades 3-5. This month's craft is a fidget keychain, and supplies are limited. No registration is required.

Wonderful Wednesdays
Feb. 4, 11, 18, & 25, 3 p.m.
This weekly afternoon Library program is filled with imaginative, hands-on fun for young learners. Grades K-2 can join their friends for fun activities including stories, crafts, and games.
Feb. 4 – Platypus Craft Feb. 11 – Never Let a Unicorn Scribble Craft Feb. 18 – Rainbow Craft Feb. 25 – Grab Bag Craft Day
No registration is required and children 8 years old and under must be accompanied by an adult caregiver.

Lunar New Year Celebration at the Point Feb. 22, 2 - 4 p.m.
The Point (850 CA-1, El Segundo, CA, 90245) welcomes the year of the Horse with Lunar New Year festivities for the whole family. Festivities on the lawn include lion dances, cultural performances, arts & crafts, photo opportunities, surprise red envelopes and more.
Saving Hearts Foundation Community Heart Screening Feb. 7, 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Ages 12-35 will receive a free, painless electrocardiogram (EKG) at Da Vinci Schools (201 N Douglas St., El Segundo, CA 90245). The goal is to prevent sudden cardiac arrest. Pre-registration is encouraged; walk-ins welcome!
 Recycled Water Facility Tour Feb. 21, 10 a.m. - 12 p.m.
Go behind the scenes of the West Basin Municipal Water District’s recycled water facility (1935 S. Hughes Way, El Segundo, CA 90245). Learn all about West Basin's role in recycled water and how the entire purification process works. FREE breakfast is included, while supplies last.

City Hall Closure Dates
El Segundo's City Hall will be closed for Presidents' Day on Monday, Feb. 16. City Hall's regular operating hours are Monday - Thursday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Friday, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
