Dial-A-Ride to Vote
Need a ride to vote? No problem! El Segundo’s Dial-a-Ride with Lyft program is providing seniors with free rides to vote in-person. Dial-A-Ride is available weekdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. with extended hours to 7 p.m. on Election Day. To schedule a ride, call the Joslyn Center at 310-524-2705.

Baila Baila! Bilingual Concert for Children Nov. 5, 10 a.m.
Prepare to sing and dance along at this lively bilingual Spanish and English concert at the El Segundo Public Library. This program is suitable for children ages 0-5 and their adult caregiver. No registration is required.

Fall Story Explorers Nov. 8, 10:30 a.m.
Families and their children are invited to the El Segundo Public Library for stories, songs, and a craft (while supplies last). For ages 0-10 years. Children age 8 and under must be accompanied by adult caregiver. No registration required.

Dive-In Movie Nov. 21, 6 p.m.

This month, El Segundo police officers are taking part in Movember or No-Shave November, to raise awareness of men's health issues. Participants skip shaving and instead, donate the money they'd spend on grooming to support the cause. The Police Department's goal is to raise $4,000 for City of Hope in support of prostate cancer research and treatment.

This holiday season, the El Segundo Police Department is once again partnering with the United States Marine Corps to collect new, unwrapped toys to distribute to less fortunate children during the holidays.
Help bring the joy of the holidays and send a message of hope through the gift of a new toy. From Nov. 5 through Dec. 10, we will have two locations where you can donate in person. For details about the drive and donation locations, click here.

On Nov. 8 at 10 a.m., the El Segundo Police Department will host E-Bike Sense's certified league cycling instructor for a short presentation on e-bike safety, followed by a skills course. The instructor will provide information on how to safely ride an e-bike, related laws, and recommended equipment. All you need to bring is your e-bike and a helmet!

Spark of Love Toy Drive
The Spark of Love toy drive, the largest community toy drive in the nation, returns to El Segundo. This special community campaign collects new, unwrapped toys and sports equipment for under-served children. Donate in-person at Fire Station #1 from Nov. 17 through Dec. 19 or text to give by texting "SPARK" to 24365.
More information is online, including an application if you have a nonprofit in need of toys.

November 2025 City Hall Closure Dates
El Segundo City Hall will be closed in November for:
- Veterans Day - Tuesday, Nov. 11
- Thanksgiving - Thursday, Nov. 27 & Friday, Nov. 28
City Hall's regular operating hours are Monday - Thursday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Friday, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
