Please join us for our upcoming FREE series of music performances at the El Segundo Public Library.

On Saturday, September 27, at 2:00 p.m., Sippin' Time will delight you with their sultry soul, pop, funky rock, and jazz. This trio of musicians includes Larry Steen on bass, Yarone Levy on guitars, and Nikki Steen on vocals. Nikki Steen has worked as a lead and background vocalist for countless bands, as well as many large-scale musical theater productions. Larry Steen is a recording artist with two solo, award-winning, world jazz releases and has performed with artists such as Stevie Wonder, Gladys Knight, Mel Torme, and Ella Fitzgerald, to name but a few. Yarone Levy’s guitarist credits include touring and recording with household names in music, television, and film, like Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, Ally McBeal, Fame, and others. He has released a contemporary jazz album, “Blue And Yellow.” 

Sippin' Time

On Saturday, November 22, at 2:00 p.m., the Silver Linings Duo perform a variety of rock, pop, classical, oldies, Disney favorites, movie themes and originals, too! The Silver Linings Duo is guitarist Ed Kusby and Jennifer Walton on violin. Ed Kusby has written and performed film music for the Cousteau Society, and his music was recorded on a Grammy-nominated album by the Greene String Quartet; he has also played with noted musician Christopher Parkening. Jennifer Walton began playing violin at the age of three and graduated from California State University, Fullerton, with a degree in Violin Performance. She has performed in the film and television industries and has performed with many popular musical artists, including Johnny Mathis, Harry Connick, Jr., Neil Diamond, and Bette Midler. She is currently a member of the California Philharmonic Orchestra and the Downey Symphony, but also travels the world as a substitute violinist.
