 The public is invited to an evening of ensemble music performance by the Artisan Guitar Ensemble in the Reading Lounge at the El Segundo Public Library on Tuesday, June 27th from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. This FREE program offers an amazing opportunity for the classical music lover, as well as folk and world music lovers. The group prides itself on expressive interpretations, rhythmic energy and a tight ensemble. Come learn about the composers and musical forms while enjoying a lively evening of classical guitar music.
Performing professionally since 2006, Max Mendoza, Daniel Ramirez, and Andre Giraldo met while studying classical guitar under David Grimes and Richard Turner at CSU, Fullerton. Endeavoring to cultivate community and culture through shared musical experiences with its audiences, the Artisan Guitar Ensemble has achieved an eclectic sound of refinement and an expressive quality that get at the heart of music's power to evoke joy and deliver pleasure.
The group will perform a program of music from across the globe, highlighting music from Japan, the Balkans, Russia, Spain and Greece.
All ages are invited; no RSVP is required.
This event is funded by the El Segundo Cultural Development Program.
