El Segundo City Council Declares Local State of Emergency
In a special session held on September 8, 2022, City Council declared a local state of emergency for the City of El Segundo and authorized the initiation of a lawsuit against the City of Los Angeles in response to the ongoing release of noxious gases and odors from the Hyperion Water Reclamation Plant.
