7th Annual El Segundo Art Walk, Saturday, August 27th
Kick-Off Concert Friday, August 26th
The El Segundo Art Walk released the 2022 ESAW Magazine, featuring five stories that delve into local artists, the philosophy of a public art leader, a reemerging rock band setting a new course, a world-class muralist, and the development of El Segundo Art Walk 2.0.
A new augmented reality piece will be installed on City Hall Plaza just in time for the Art Walk. The kinetic sculpture, Keeping Time by Casey Farina, explores the human relationship to the passage of time with an array of animated bell structures. Art enthusiasts and community members are invited to the 7th Annual El Segundo Art Walk (ESAW) on Saturday, August 27th from 3:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. taking place in the Smoky Hollow and Downtown neighborhoods of El Segundo. This event brings together more than 50 artists in over 40 venues.
With many Art Walk activities on Main, Eucalyptus, Franklin, and Penn Streets, visitors are encouraged to arrive early and visit the different exhibitions and pop-up galleries. Attendees can pick up maps, purchase art, sample beer from El Segundo Brewing Company and Boulevard Brewing, and enjoy live music at the ESAW Headquarters located at 314 Main Street from 3:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
New this year, the ESAW will host a free kick-off concert on Friday, August 26th from 6:30 p.m.- 9:00 p.m.
