Hyperion Update
On March 22, 2022, Mayor Drew Boyles drafted a letter on behalf of the City Council and the residents of El Segundo to Councilmember Mike Bonin and the Los Angeles City Council regarding the Hyperion Treatment Plant.
In the letter, Mayor Boyles addressed several critical issues the City has faced resulting from the July 11, 2021 sewage spill.
