El Segundo Fire Department Encouraging Online Donations to Spark of Love Toy Drive

The El Segundo Fire Department is calling on the community to participate in the online Spark of Love Toy Drive to ensure families dealing with the effects of the pandemic and wildfires receive a toy this holiday season.  Since the demand is anticipated to be higher than ever, Spark of Love is going online, transitioning to an all-virtual effort by partnering with myregistry.com.

The community campaign collects new, unwrapped toys and sports equipment for underserved children and teens in Southern California and is accepting donations now through December 24, 2020. 

This year COVID safety protocols will prevent Southland fire stations from collecting toys, but you can show your support in a safe, quick manner by making a donation through the Spark of Love registry.

All proceeds will go to buying toys or sports equipment for the children.
