El Segundo Back to Business

Dear Valued Business Community:

We are proud to announce the launch of a comprehensive economic recovery program – El Segundo Back to Business. Under this new initiative, we introduce the development of an Economic Recovery Task Force with community and industry experts, a series of round table events featuring elected officials, top executives from El Segundo's largest employers and representatives from the City’s small to mid-size business community, video “Real Stories of Recovery” messages from the business community, and Downtown Business Town Hall forums. Ideas, input and feedback received from these discussions are utilized to shape a framework for economic recovery and business assistance efforts.

Already we are beginning to see some businesses gradually reopen across the country. As our city and county moves into "Stage 2" of the Roadmap to Recovery we want to keep you informed of the recent protocols and guidelines issued by the Los Angeles County and the California Departments of Public Health for reopening businesses.

Many companies are eager to resume operations, but they have questions about precisely how to do it. We have launched a webpage dedicated to provide updates to protocols and industry-specific guidance documents to help you get back to business while taking the necessary precautions to maximize safety.

Among the rules, physical distancing, wearing face coverings, and frequent hand washing will remain critically important for the foreseeable future.

If you have questions related to social distancing protocols and transmission mitigation, please call the El Segundo Joint Information Center at (310) 692-1699 Monday - Friday 8 a.m. - 6 p.m.

Thank you for all you do to help protect your employees, customers and our community.

Sincerely,

Economic Development Team
