PG&E is preparing to complete a series of important wildfire safety upgrades in and around the Rock Creek Road area northeast of Placerville. You may start to see PG&E activity March 1st with potential for road closures. This work will include moving powerlines underground and installing strong poles and covered powerlines above ground to improve safety and reliability. To raise awareness about this important safety work, PG&E will be hosting an answer center for the community. During the event, PG&E representatives will be prepared to share details and answer questions about work plans and what community members can expect during this work. Updates about potential traffic impacts, including traffic controls and road closures that may start as early as mid-February will also be available.
