• There is a 15 gallon or 125 pound limit per household • Business waste will not be accepted • Be safe with your waste: Do not mix materials. Keep all waste in their original containers with lids on tight. If a container is leaking, place in a sturdy plastic bag or bucket and label it. Transport waste in the rear of your truck or in the trunk of your car.
We Do Not Accept the Following: Empty Containers, Tires, Business Waste, Commercial AG chemicals, Asbestos, Radioactive waste, Welding/Oxygen cylinders, Propane cylinders larger than 5 gal., Explosives, Ammunition, Dried paint, Hardened concrete, Large appliances and electronics (freezers, refrigerators, stoves, air conditioners, washers/ dryers), Loads over 125 pounds or 15 gallons.

El Dorado County has renewed its lease of the Georgetown Library facility at 6680 Orleans Street, Georgetown, under Lease Agreement 9716 with property owners Richard and Cheryl Anderson. The Georgetown Library has continuously operated at this location since 1993, serving as a vital resource for the community. In the past year, patrons borrowed 29,536 items, and more than 3,366 cardholders designated Georgetown as their home library—highlighting its central role in local library services.
