•The HHW collection event is by appointment only. Please call 530-621-5300, or email hhw@edcgov.us for an appointment time before 3:00pm Friday, September 12, 2025. • There is a 15 gallon or 125 pound limit per household • Business waste will not be accepted • Be safe with your waste: Do not mix materials. Keep all waste in their original containers with lids on tight. If a container is leaking, place in a sturdy plastic bag or bucket and label it. Transport waste in the rear of your truck or in the trunk of your car.
We Do Not Accept the Following: Empty Containers* Tires* Business Waste* Commercial AG chemicals* Asbestos* Radioactive waste* Welding/Oxygen cylinders* Propane cylinders larger than 5 gal.* Explosives* Ammunition* Dried paint* Hardened concrete* Large appliances and electronics (freezers, refrigerators, stoves, air conditioners, washers/ dryers)* Loads over 125 pounds or 15 gallons.
