1/16/25 Update: The El Dorado County’s Department of Transportation and structural engineers have inspected the Mt. Murphy Road Bridge over the South Fork American River in Coloma due to damage sustained to the bridge Sunday, January 12th and has reopened it for pedestrian traffic only. The bridge remains closed to vehicles, which are still advised to use Mt. Murphy Road to Marshall Road in Garden Valley to exit the northeast side of the river.

There will be a Mt. Murphy Bridge Replacement Project update from the El Dorado County Department of Transportation (DOT) at the February 6th Coloma Lotus Advisory Committee (CLAC) meeting.

(1) ONE VACANCY EXISTS ON THE COMMISSION ON AGING FOR A MEMER-AT-LARGE.

Description: The Commission on Aging is advisory to the El Dorado County Board of Supervisors. The Commission works with the Director of the Area Agency on Aging on community interests and issues or challenges facing the senior population of El Dorado County. This includes, but is not limited to, developing community centers in strategic areas of the county to make services accessible to all seniors, promoting services that enable seniors to remain in their homes and preventing elder abuse.

Term for this Vacancy: Two-year term.
