Office of Wildfire Preparedness and Resilience, a Division of the Chief Administrative Office, recommending the Board: 1) Approve the Introduction (First Reading) of Ordinance 5186 to amend Chapter 8.09 of the El Dorado County Code of Ordinances entitled Hazardous Vegetation and Defensible Space; and 2) Waive full reading of the Ordinance, read by title only, and continue this matter to July 16, 2024, for Final Passage (Second Reading). ONE (1) VACANCY EXISTS ON THE KELSEY CEMETERY DISTRICT BOARD OF TRUSTEES. PURSUANT TO HEALTH AND SAFETY CODE SESION 9022, ALL MEMBERS MUST BE VOTERS WITHIN THE IN THE KELSEY CEMETERY DISTRICT (SUPERVISORIAL DISTRICT 4).
Description: The Kelsey Cemetery is governed and managed by an Advisory Committee with three or five trustees appointed by the Board of Supervisors as stated in Chapter 7 of the Health and Safety Code 9020. The Kelsey Cemetery District operates with limited public funds and activity.
Term for this Vacancy: 4-year term.
