Community Hubs is your local library, where Navigators connect children, individuals & families with community resources. The five Hubs in El Dorado County are located at the El Dorado Hills, Cameron Park, Placerville, Georgetown, & South Lake Tahoe libraries. Navigators assist community members of any age, free of charge. They provide information, individualized support and group activities to strengthen our community. One-on-One Services... To receive an access pass, operators must apply and register in advance and then attend the 4 hour training on September 12, 2023, 1:00-5:00 PM at the Sheriff’s Community Room - 200 Industrial Dr Placerville, CA 95667. The Senior Shuttle is a ‘door-to-door’ transportation service available to older adults living in the El Dorado County area. Monthly Reservation Options are Limited. Reserve TODAY! The Senior Shuttle is a volunteer-driven 6-person van that provides food shopping, household essentials, and social/recreation transportation in a small group setting. Pick-up times will be scheduled between 9:00 AM -10:30 AM and are based on your location. To serve as many residents in the local area as possible, please allow three hours to complete the trip. All voluntary contributions for the Senior Shuttle are confidential and directly support the transportation program provided by the El Dorado County Area Agency on Aging.
