Traffic Advisory Committee Recommendation: No Parking Signs on Bayne Road and Further Analysis on Pedro Hill
At the 12/16/21 Traffic Advisory Committee (TAC) meeting, staff recommended placing a “No Parking” Zone on both sides of Bayne Road from River Road to MP 3.90, and retain the “Tow Away” Zone on Bayne Road from Mt. Murphy to River Road per County Resolution 225-97. Thank you to the residents who participated in this process and worked with staff to develop this solution to parking issues on Bayne Road. The staff recommendation will be on an upcoming Board of Supervisors agenda for approval.
Also on the 12/16/21 TAC meeting agenda was a discussion about parking restrictions along Pedro Hill Road. Thank you to the residents who participated in this discussion and are working with staff to come up with solutions to the parking issues along Pedro Hill Road. The TAC discussion led to a recommendation to perform a parking survey in that area and staff will bring a recommendation for improvements to the Spring TAC meeting.
Special thanks to our DOT staff for listening to the concerns of our residents, explaining the process for making changes, and working with interested parties to come up with recommendations for solutions.
