November 2, 2021 Pioneer Community Energy
Meeting Video

Pioneer

Pioneer Community Energy will begin serving the 68,000 accounts in unincorporated El Dorado County and Placerville in January 2022. For those interested in learning more about Pioneer Energy the video of the November 2, 2021 Pioneer Community Energy meeting is available here: https://youtu.be/vQHQMtIpxpc

During the meeting it was made clear that most but not all customers, primarily solar customers, will have lower bills by switching to Pioneer. Solar customers also have the additional decision point regarding PG&E's annual true up or monthly Pioneer billing. The best way to determine if you will benefit from switching to Pioneer is to contact them and ask them to compare your PG&E rates with the Pioneer rates. You can call 844-937-7466 or email CustomerServices@PioneerCommunityEnergy.ca.gov and ask for someone to do that comparison for you. More information is available on their website at http://PioneerCommunityEnergy.ca.gov
