PG&E Outages Update

PG&E Outages

Although the El Dorado County Board of Supervisors does not have any authority over PG&E, our office is continuing to work with the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) and Rural County Representatives of California (RCRC) to get PG&E to correct their issue with the Fast Trip switches. It is unacceptable that PG&E has been unresponsive and non-communicative with its customers on the Divide.

Thank you to everyone who has filed a complaint on the CPUC online portal. It helps document the issue for the CPUC to take action. Information to file a CPUC complaint is available here:
https://content.govdelivery.com/accounts/CAELDOR/bulletins/2eec035#one

We will provide further updates as they become available.

 Auburn State Recreation Area (ASRA)
General Plan Update 9/30/21
ASRA Map

Our office has been receiving many emails regarding the upcoming State Parks Commission hearing on September 30 regarding the Auburn State Recreation Area (ASRA) General Plan Update. The El Dorado County Board of Supervisors has no authority over State Parks but did express its concern regarding the proposed Plan in a September 10, 2019 letter to State Parks, which is available here for reference:
https://eldorado.legistar.com/View.ashx?M=F&ID=7700331&GUID=737DE6FC-3D64-4ECA-94E7-DF97857B3EF2 https://

We will forward your emails to the State Parks Commission at SPR.Commission@parks.ca.gov so that your concerns are heard by the Commission. The agenda for the hearing on September 30 should be posted at https://www.parks.ca.gov/?page_id=24325 10 days prior to the hearing on September 20, and we will monitor that agenda for further details. The hearing will be held virtually and we encourage all interested parties to attend.

Pre-registration is required for both parts of the series. It is not mandatory to attend both, however we do encourage it if you can.
