The Division of the State Architect – Structural Safety (DSA-SS) 2024 Triennial Code proposals for Parts 3, 4, 5 and 11 of the 2025 California Building Standards Code (California Code of Regulations, Title 24) were reviewed and adopted by the California Building Standards Commission (BSC) at the meeting held December 17-19, 2024. DSA-SS’s proposals for Parts 1, 2 and 10 of the 2025 Title 24 were reviewed and adopted by the BSC at the meeting held February 26–28, 2025.
The Division of the State Architect – Access Compliance (DSA-AC) 2024 Triennial Code proposals for Parts 2 and 10 of the 2025 California Building Standards Code (California Code of Regulations, Title 24) were reviewed and adopted by the California Building Standards Commission (BSC) at the meeting held February 26–28, 2025.
These approved standards will be included in the 2025 Title 24, which is scheduled for publication on or before July 1, 2025.
All Parts of the 2025 Title 24 have an effective date of January 1, 2026, except for the 2025 California Administrative Code (Title 24, Part 1) which becomes effective on April 6, 2025.
