Notice of 45-Day Public Comment Period

March 31, 2023 - May 15, 2023

The California Building Standards Commission (CBSC), on its own behalf and that of the Division of the State Architect and the Department of Housing and Community Development, is providing notice of code changes intended for inclusion in the Intervening Supplement to the 2022 California Building Standards Code, Title 24, which is scheduled for publication in Jan. 1, 2024 with an effective date of July 1, 2024. The regulations were heard by the GREEN Code Advisory Committee.

CBSC will accept written comments for at least 45 days between March 31 and May 15, 2023. All written comments for this period must be submitted no later than midnight on May 15, 2023.
