Notice of 15-Day Public Comment Period

Nov. 1, 2021 – Nov. 16, 2021

The California Building Standards Commission (CBSC), on behalf of the Division of the State Architect, the Office of the State Fire Marshal, the Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development, and the Department of Housing and Community Development, is providing notice of a 15-day public comment period for proposed changes intended for inclusion in the 2022 California Building Standards Code, Title 24, which is scheduled for publication in July 2022 with an effective date of January 2023.

The public is invited to provide input or comments on proposed code changes on or prior to Nov. 16, 2021.
