Property Owners to Vote on LLAD This April
The Landscaping and Lighting Assessment District (LLAD) funds parks, streetlights, landscaping, and public facilities.
The Landscaping and Lighting Assessment District (LLAD) provides funding for parks, streetlights, landscaping, and public facilities. Every property owner in Danville contributes to this important fund, which is facing a shortfall after no assessment increase for more than 20 years.
After years of significant inflationary cost increases, not increasing assessments for this special fund has meant that the general fund must cover the gap. To avoid cuts to LLAD services and general fund programs, the Town is proposing and adjusted LLAD following extensive analysis.
Property owners can expect their ballot for the 2025 LLAD in the mail the first week of April. Voters must return their completed ballot no later than May 20 at 5 p.m. • MORE INFO
