Nextdoor Updates
Nextdoor has recently introduced new features for public agencies aimed at improving information sharing and community engagement, including expanded tools that allow agencies to view, comment on, and repost content from other verified public agencies, partners, and local news publishers.
Residents may also notice new discussion prompts on Nextdoor generated by the platform to encourage neighborhood conversation. These prompts are created by Nextdoor and are not City surveys or City-initiated outreach. Official City updates and community engagement will always be clearly identified and shared through verified City channels, including the cupertino.gov website and the City of Cupertino’s official Nextdoor and social media accounts.
The City will continue using Nextdoor as one of several tools to share helpful updates, amplify credible information, and keep our community informed.
