12th Annual Fall Bike Fest
Strap on a helmet and bike to Civic Center Plaza to start the fall with some bike-themed fun! The event will feature on-bike and off-bike games, arts and crafts, food and beverages for sale, and much more! A signed waiver is required to participate in any on-bike activities.

Remember - any residual food scraps, food-soiled paper, and plants go in your green organics cart or bin. A free kitchen pail is available for all Cupertino residents.

 Same-Day Emergency Water Heater Replacement
Silicon Valley Clean Energy (SVCE) now offers an Emergency Water Heater Replacement program that guarantees hot water restored within 48 hours.

Call (408) 260-5255, and our partner contractor will confirm your eligibility and schedule your in-home assessment for the same or next day. Someone is available 24/7 to take your call.
- A contractor will perform a free water heater inspection and provide you with a proposal detailing the necessary upgrades and applicable rebates for an energy-efficient heat pump water heater.
- You can then review the proposal, available rebates and participation agreement, before moving forward with the installation. Once the paperwork is signed, the contractor will take care of necessary compliance and inspections, and your project will be underway.

You will have hot water within 48 hours of your initial call! Pay the contractor the final costs after any applicable rebates. This payment covers the installation cost, with no additional cost for the fast-tracked installation.
 Businesses Now Eligible for Up to $40,000 in Rebates
Businesses can now receive up to $40,000 in Business Rebates to upgrade to clean, energy-efficient electric equipment. Trade in your outdated gas equipment and enhance your operations while boosting your reputation. Non-profits, municipalities, and public schools can receive up to $55,000 in rebates.
Significant Rebates to Reduce Upfront Costs:

Calling all San Jose youth! Bring your creativity and educate your peers, families, local governments, and the broader community about climate action through engaging and informative videos.
The competition is now open and closes on October 31st. Videos can be between 1-5 minutes long and focus on climate action.
