Questions submitted through either method may be selected to be read and answered live during the event. If time runs short, panel responses will be posted online in the following months. Utility Work and Tree Removal Near The Rise
Next week, utility crews will start relocating PG&E and Verizon equipment along Wolfe Road, just north of Vallco Parkway, as part of early work for The Rise development. This will require removing four street trees and replacing parts of the sidewalk and the curb. Work will happen on weekdays from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and is anticipated to last 20 working days. The City is working to preserve as many City trees along the property as possible. Where street trees are required to be removed, the scope will be limited to the area affected by the proposed construction authorized under an issued permit to minimize significant canopy loss. The project is required to provide replacement trees, which will be installed with future offsite improvements.
