Updated Happy Public Service Recognition Week
Heartfelt Appreciation for All Who Serve Cupertino
Dear Cupertino Residents,
This week, May 4 to May 10, 2025, we proudly celebrate Public Service Recognition Week—a time to recognize the dedication, professionalism, and compassion of the many individuals who serve our city every day.
Public Service Recognition Week, first celebrated in 1985, honors the contributions of public servants at all levels of government. From those who maintain our parks and streets to those who plan our city, respond in emergencies, host community events, and support our daily civic operations, these individuals keep Cupertino safe, functional, and thriving.
As Mayor of Cupertino, I want to express my deepest gratitude to our full-time and part-time employees, civil servants, and dedicated volunteers. They are the backbone of our city government and the heart of our community.
