Struggling with technology? Many issues can be fixed with simple setting changes. Reserve a 30-minute session for one-on-one help with your devices (phone, laptop, tablet, smartwatch, etc.) and learn how to use them effectively.

Need tech help? Visit our Tech Lab for one-on-one assistance with your device or technology questions. Bring your phone, laptop, tablet, or smartwatch, or simply drop in with your questions. Assistance is first come, first served, with one question addressed at a time.

Age Well, Drive Smart
Wednesday, December 18, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The CHP offers a valuable session covering topics like debunking myths about older drivers, adapting to age-related changes, and safe driving tips. Participants will receive a certificate upon completion, which may qualify for discounts with certain insurance companies. Free for members; senior guests pay a $5 visitor pass.

Caregiver Support Group
Tuesday, December 17, 1 to 2:30 p.m.
Caregiving is tough, but you’re not alone. Join fellow caregivers to share experiences, learn about resources, and connect socially. Led by Sourcewise, a Santa Clara County agency, the group supports caregivers of adults 60+ or those with dementia-related diseases like Alzheimer's or Huntington's. Free support is provided for unique caregiving situations.

Host/Hostess Meeting
Tuesday, December 10, 1 p.m.
Learn how to get involved with fun events and programs at the Senior Center. Hosts and hostesses facilitate the smooth functioning of events - they perform important roles such as welcoming and checking in participants, meeting and introducing presenters, and more.

New! Conversational Mandarin
Wednesdays, January 8 to February 26 11 a.m. to noon
This introductory course is designed for students with little to no prior knowledge of Mandarin Chinese. Lessons will be interactive with an emphasis on speaking and listening.

Matter of Balance is an award-winning program designed to manage falls and increase activity levels. This program includes facilitated discussion on fall prevention and a gentle exercise program.

Ever wanted to learn piano but have never learned music before? Come learn in a small class setting musical notes, scales, and beginning-level piano songs on a keyboard.

Steinbeck House and Center
Thursday, February 6, 2025 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Visit the historic Steinbeck House, a restored Victorian built in 1897 with original decorations and memorabilia. Enjoy a gourmet lunch there, followed by a docent-led tour at the National Steinbeck Center.

Monterey Bay Whale Watching

Thursday, April 24, 2025 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Visit the American Made Miniature Farm Sanctuary to interact with and learn about the animals. Afterwards, enjoy a no-host lunch and explore the history, architecture, and boutiques of this riverfront town.
