2024 Artist Awards Program
Application deadline is Tuesday, October 1 at 4:30 p.m.
Every year, the City of Cupertino and the Cupertino Arts and Culture Commission choose a Distinguished Artist, Emerging Artist, and Young Artist to recognize. These awards are presented to deserving artists in recognition of local talent in visual, verbal, and performing arts while preserving and advancing the arts for the benefit of the citizens of Cupertino. Winners will receive public recognition and a cash award.

Teen Speaker Series: Business and Entrepreneurship
Saturday, September 21 from 1 to 2 p.m. Cupertino Community Hall
Cupertino Parks and Recreation and the Cupertino Youth Activity Board invites teens to an insightful discussion about business pursuits, learning from the experience of experts in the field. Light snacks and refreshments will be provided.

50+ Golf Tournament
Wednesday, September 25 at 10 a.m. Blackberry Farm Golf Course
Hit the links for a 9-hole golf tournament hosted by the Cupertino Senior Center. A no-host lunch follows the tournament, during which prizes and awards will be presented.

Recreation Event Volunteers (REV)
Cupertino Parks and Recreation is recruiting teens for the Recreation Event Volunteers (REV) group. This newly established volunteering group is looking for dedicated teens, ages 14-18 to support community events. REV members will earn valuable experience and volunteer hours by assisting with event tasks. Members will be awarded and recognized throughout the year.

Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. Cupertino Sports Center
Join fellow pickleball enthusiasts for a fun and friendly game! Bring your paddle, a ball, and passion for the game.

Holiday Facility Closures
Monday, September 2, City facilities* will be closed in observance of Labor Day.
*Blackberry Farm Golf Course and Cupertino Sports Center will have normal operating hours.
