Join other friends and family caregivers to learn about resources, share experiences, and enjoy a social outlet. Lead by the Caregiver Network of Sourcewise, a Santa Clara County resource agency for seniors.

Art Workshop
Thursday, June 20 1:30 to 2:30 p.m.
Come learn the basics of water coloring and mix media which include color pencils, pens, and markers. This workshop is a fun and relaxing project for all skill levels. Materials provided.

Libby Workshop
Wednesday, June 26 10 to 11 a.m.
Access thousands of eBooks and audiobooks to read across your electronic devices or listen to on the go. This workshop will show you how to use this resource for free using your Santa Clara County Library card.

Disco at Dusk
Friday, June 21 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Community Hall
Disco at Dusk is back this summer for a fun evening of music, dancing, and activities for all ages as the sun sets! You will get your own pair of wireless headphones that have three channels playing different types of music. The color of your headphones lets others know which channel you are grooving to.

Barbie and Ken are having the time of their lives in the colorful and seemingly perfect world of Barbie Land. However, when they get a chance to go to the real world, they soon discover the joys and perils of living among humans.

Class Instructors
Become a volunteer instructor to share your skill set and engage others of similar interest.
We are seeking instructors for Tai chi, Qi Gong, US History, Mandarin, Japanese, meditation, bridge, chess, ESL, PC, and more.

Front Desk Volunteer
The Front Desk Volunteer Position is the “Window to the Senior Center.” Here, guests get their first impression of the Center. They answer phones and provide information regarding the Center. This is a people-oriented job with detailed task assignments.

Walking Group Leader
Group walking leaders will begin each session with a pre-walk discussion covering a specified topic, followed by a 10 to 40 minute walk that includes a warm-up and a cool-down period. Program Duration: six weeks, three times per week for one hour (18 total sessions). Training is provided.

Host/Hostess Meeting
Tuesday, June 11 1 p.m.
Learn how to get involved with fun events and programs at the Senior Center. Hosts and hostesses facilitate the smooth functioning of events - they perform important roles such as welcoming and checking in participants, meeting and introducing presenters, providing event information, and distribute and collect evaluations, as well as occasionally prepare refreshments and clean up.

Thursday, August 22 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Discover the scenic olive orchard at Olivina in Livermore. Owner Charles Crohare will share his knowledge in the art of olive oil tasting. Take in the beautiful view of the Olivina orchard, sample a variety of specialty olive oils, and learn about this hidden agricultural treasure. For your no-host lunch, you will get to explore Livermore’s downtown which offers a variety of dining options. Afterwards, you will venture to California’s oldest wine growing region to spend a delightful afternoon at Garre Vineyard, a family-owned winery with origins in a small village outside of Genoa, Italy. Here you will enjoy a tasting, and learn more about their wines and history, while surrounded by the spectacular backdrop of panoramic views.

View the largest collection of original Peanuts artwork in the world at the Charles M. Schulz Museum, located on the property where Charles Schulz spent the last thirty years of his life - drawing, eating and as he described it, "hanging out." Our docent-led tour is the perfect opportunity to explore one of the most popular comic strips of the 20th century. Here, you can laugh at Schulz's original comic strips, view a re-creation of Schulz's art studio, and dive into his early artistic abilities.
Railroad Square is the historic heart of downtown Santa Rosa since the first trains arrived in the 1870's. Enjoy a guided tour of this charming area, a perfect spot for your no-host lunch with choices such as Jackson's Bar and oven, Omelette Express, Grossman's Noshery, and more.
