Mother’s Day Chocolate Covered Strawberries Box
Pick up on Friday, May 10, 2:30 to 4:30 p.m.
Delight in a box of chocolate covered strawberries to celebrate the season of mothers and grandmothers. Each box will contain a variety of white chocolate, milk chocolate, and dark chocolate strawberries. Quantities limited so purchase your box today!

Live Well Age Well Health Expo
Friday, May 10, 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Attend the annual health expo and learn about resources for you and your loved ones. Bring a friend to stop by resource booths, sit in on informational presentations, or participate in activity demonstrations. First 50 attendees will receive a free lunch. Healthy boxed lunches will be sold for $5 while supplies last.

Older Americans Olympics
May is Older Americans Month, and this year’s theme is Powered by Connection, which recognizes the great impact meaningful relationships and social connections have on our health and well-being. To celebrate and get in the spirit of the upcoming summer Olympics, the California Parks and Recreation Society (CPRS) District 4 is coordinating an Olympic games competition. Come have fun and represent the Cupertino Senior Center in an event.

Class Instructors
Become a volunteer instructor to share your skill set and engage others of similar interest.
We are seeking instructors for Tai chi, Qi Gong, US History, Mandarin, Japanese, meditation, bridge, chess, ESL, PC, and more.

Front Desk Volunteer
The Front Desk Volunteer Position is the “Window to the Senior Center.” Here, guests get their first impression of the Center. They answer phones and provide information regarding the Center. This is a people-oriented job with detailed task assignments.

Walking Group Leader
Group walking leaders will begin each session with a pre-walk discussion covering a specified topic, followed by a 10 to 40 minute walk that includes a warm-up and a cool-down period. Program Duration: six weeks, three times per week for one hour (18 total sessions). Training is provided.

Discover the scenic olive orchard at Olivina in Livermore. Owner Charles Crohare will share his knowledge in the art of olive oil tasting. Take in the beautiful view of the Olivina orchard, sample a variety of specialty olive oils, and learn about this hidden agricultural treasure. For your no-host lunch, you will get to explore Livermore’s downtown which offers a variety of dining options. Afterwards, you will venture to California’s oldest wine growing region to spend a delightful afternoon at Garre Vineyard, a family-owned winery with origins in a small village outside of Genoa, Italy. Here you will enjoy a tasting, and learn more about their wines and history, while surrounded by the spectacular backdrop of panoramic views.

View the largest collection of original Peanuts artwork in the world at the Charles M. Schulz Museum, located on the property where Charles Schulz spent the last thirty years of his life - drawing, eating and as he described it, "hanging out." Our docent-led tour is the perfect opportunity to explore one of the most popular comic strips of the 20th century. Here, you can laugh at Schulz's original comic strips, view a re-creation of Schulz's art studio, and dive into his early artistic abilities.
Railroad Square is the historic heart of downtown Santa Rosa since the first trains arrived in the 1870's. Enjoy a guided tour of this charming area, a perfect spot for your no-host lunch with choices such as Jackson's Bar and oven, Omelette Express, Grossman's Noshery, and more.

Experience the beauty of Berkeley as we visit three extremely special destinations in this gem of a town. Our first stop is a guided tour of the Botanical Gardens at the University of California. Our second stop will be lunch at the elegant Skates on the Bay at the Berkeley marina. Then, conclude the day with a private tour of the landmark Berkeley City Club, a historic building designed by famed Hearst Castle Architect Julia Morgan.
