Revised Second Draft Now Available for Public Comment
Submit your feedback and help shape the future of housing in Cupertino. The City of Cupertino submitted a Second Draft of the 2023-2031 Draft Housing Element to address comments received on the initial Draft from the State of California Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD) in May, and direction given to staff by the City Council in late-July in October 2023.
In an effort to address informal comments from the California Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD), the City of Cupertino has revised the October 2023 version of the City’s 2023-2031 Draft Housing Element. The revised Draft Housing Element is now available for review on the City’s website at engagecupertino.org/public-documents. The HCD’s 60-day review period ends on December 15, 2023.
Comments on the revised draft Housing Element can be submitted via email: housing@cupertino.gov or by mailing or delivering handwritten comments in person to the Department of Community Development, Attention: Luke Connolly, Assistant Director of Community Development, 10300 Torre Ave, Cupertino, CA 95014.
