Senior Adult Legal Aid (SALA) Appointments

Free assistance to elders for basic legal matters in public benefits, long-term care, elder abuse, housing, consumer issues, incapacity planning, probate alternative, and simple wills. Must be 60 or older and live in Santa Clara County. To schedule an appointment, call (408) 295-5991.

Indoor Air presented by Breathe CA

Because seniors spend 90% of their time indoors, this presentation explains the sources of poor indoor air quality and inexpensive remediation measures.

Freegal Workshop
Wednesday, June 28 10 to 11 a.m.
Freegal gives you access to downloadable music and catalog of artists in Sony Music Entertainment, including artists from the Independ Online Distribution Alliance. Learn how you may access this service free using your Santa Clara County Library card.

Disco at Dusk
Friday, June 23 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Cupertino Senior Center
Experience the city’s first silent disco filled with music, dancing, and more for all ages as the sun sets! You’ll get your own pair of wireless headphones that have three channels playing different types of music. The color of your headphones lets others know which channel you are grooving to.

Join the Bingo Committee and help Friday afternoons. Support is needed in general social operations such as selling cards, passing out snacks, and more.

Class Instructors
Become a volunteer instructor to share your skill set and engage others of similar interest.
We are seeking instructors for Tai chi, Qi Gong, US History, Mandarin, Japanese, meditation, bridge, chess, PC, and more.

Hidden Treasures
Volunteers are needed to support this annual fundraising event. As a volunteer, you get to see a preview of the donated items while having fun sorting! Senior Center membership is required to volunteer.

 Elkhorn Slough Safari
Thursday, June 15 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Join us for two delightful private tours of Elkhorn Slough, to experience the beauty of these wetlands from both land and sea. On a private boat tour of the estuary with an expert naturalist, you will have the opportunity to get up close with an incredible variety of wildlife such as playful sea otters, curious harbor seals, sea lions, hundreds of species of birds and more.

 Oakland Athletics vs. New York Yankees

Enjoy an exciting day at the ballpark, and a classic East Coast vs. West Coast clash as the Oakland A’s, a nine-time World Series champions, take on the mighty New York Yankees, a twenty-seven-time World Series champions. Cheer on the A’s from your reserved infield level seats in the shade, with great views of home plate.

The Cupertino Senior Center will be closed on Monday, June 19 in observation of Juneteenth. The Senior Center will reopen on Tuesday, June 20.
