Help Develop an All-Inclusive Playground at Jollyman Park
A new, all-inclusive playground is coming to Jollyman Park that will diversify play experiences for people of all ages and abilities. The City is asking the community to get involved early in this process by reimagining this playground and sharing your input.
Whether a child or adult family member has cognitive issues, mobility challenges, or both, many traditional play areas in parks were not built to accommodate those differences in ability. This universally-accessible playground will support recreation and social interaction for people with autism, sensory challenges, cognitive, developmental, and physical disabilities, and those without special needs.
Community members will be able to participate in all sorts of play, community gatherings, and intergenerational experiences. Our primary goal is to create a space for people of all ages, abilities, backgrounds, and orientations to connect, create, and strengthen our Cupertino community.
The City wants to hear from you and will use community input to develop playground concept plans.
Here's how you can participate:
- Drop by Jollyman Park on March 26 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. to share your ideas
- Take the 10 minute online survey at engagecupertino.org/jollyman
