Drop Off Your Special All-Mailed Ballot Election for Measure CL at Fiesta La Ballona
 Election day is just five days away! If you haven’t already mailed or dropped your ballot at an official election dropbox, you can do so at Fiesta La Ballona this weekend. The Elections Booth will be staffed throughout the weekend event at the City booths area. Enty to Fiesta La Ballona is free.

The election will be held on Tuesday, August 26, 2025 for one ballot measure. Measure CL would impose a general sales tax at the rate of 1/4-cent per dollar.
If approved, Measure CL would provide funding for general City services including: maintaining three fully staffed fire stations/ 911 emergency response times; retaining firefighters, paramedics, police officers; homeless reduction services/ encampment prevention; improving parks/ fields; repairing potholes/ streets/ storm drains; senior/ youth services and other General Fund uses, by enacting a ¼ cent sales tax, providing approximately $5,600,000 annually until ended by voters. This also requires all funds be locally controlled with audits and public spending disclosures.
How to Vote in this Election
All registered voters should have received a Vote by Mail (VBM) ballot in the mail. Mark your ballot, enclose it in the postage-paid return envelope, sign and provide your address on the back of the envelope and:

Election Night Ballot Tabulation
Election night ballot tabulation will take place in the Mike Balkman Council Chambers on August 26, 2025, at 8 PM. This tabulation will provide the preliminary election results. The public is welcome to attend in person or online. You can view online by visiting the Culver City meeting agenda webpage or the City's YouTube channel.
