All persons entering a City Council meeting must pass through a security screening.  Firearms, knives, weapons, and signs larger than 18 x 24 inches are prohibited from City Council Chambers and no one with any of these items will be permitted to enter. See California Penal Code §171b and City Council Policy 4004 for more information.

Childcare is now available for people attending City Council meetings. This is to encourage in-person public participation. The City also offers virtual options for the community to participate in City Council meetings.
