Culver City Unveils New Homeless Services Reporting Dashboard
City of Culver City unveiled a new online Homeless Services Reporting Dashboard available to the community that tracks the City's efforts in providing services to the City’s the unhoused population.
The Homeless Services Reporting Dashboard on the City's website details approximately 70 measures of key service reporting for City programs and services that provide resources to the most vulnerable in our community. It is an effective method to communicate our progress to provide support to our unhoused neighbors as they begin a new chapter of life, in addition to providing transparency on our efforts to the Culver City community.
Updated data will be published quarterly, along with an email update to community members who are interested in tracking the City’s progress. The City of Culver City remains dedicated to leading with care, helping our unhoused neighbors live a better life.

Community Input Wanted for Future of Former Gun Store Property
The City of Culver City is seeking input from the community on what it should do with the City-owned property at 11029 Washington Boulevard, which it purchased in 2023. Input will be collected until November 30, 2024.

The property is a 0.2777-acre parcel containing a 4,660 square foot, one-story building with a former retail and office use built in 1953. The site is a corner lot with 20 parking spaces. The parcel is zoned Mixed-Use Corridor 1 - 35 dwelling units per acre.
Between 1953 and 2023, it was used as the Martin B. Retting gun shop. The City has repainted the exterior of the site and installed a fence to secure the parking lot. The City’s Artist Laureate Katy Kranz installed a temporary mural project on the exterior of the building.

Construction to Begin on MOVE Culver City in September
Signing, striping, and traffic signal modifications are coming to Culver Blvd between Duquesne Ave and Canfield Ave and Washington Blvd between Canfield Ave and La Cienega Blvd.
- A protected, 24/7 bus-bike lane on Culver Blvd from Duquesne Ave to Canfield Ave and on Washington Blvd from Canfield Ave to Helms Ave.
- Extension of the existing bus-bike lanes on Washington Blvd from La Cienega Ave eastward to La Cienega Blvd (approx. 1,500' extension).
- Restoration of a general-purpose travel lane on Culver Blvd between Duquesne Ave and Canfield Ave and on Washington Blvd from Canfield Ave to Helms Ave.
- Repaving of Washington Blvd between Ince Blvd and Robertson Blvd/Higuera St.
- Refreshing pavement markings and signage as necessary along the Project corridor.
Construction will begin in this month and is expected to be substantially complete by December 2024.
