Benita Bike’s DanceArt presents musicality, choreography, and dancing for all audiences. Viewers will see modern dance and will be invited to share their thoughts about art and dance.
Featured on this program are three dances. “Off the Path” is a new work filled with fabric and surprising creatures. “Aspects of Me” is a series of solos and duets that include “Me and Myself,” “Me and the Branch, “Me and Her,” and “We.” “For Rose” is about the passing of choreographer Benita Bike's mother Rose and complicated feelings of love, discordance, and death.
This performance is made possible in part by the City of Culver City and its Cultural Affairs Commission, with support from Sony Pictures Entertainment.
