Parks, Recreation and Community Services (PRCS) Department Update
The Senior Center is currently hosting various virtual classes, events and more to keep our community connected while staying safe at home. Our Senior Safer at Home Guide has all the information on virtual classes, workshops, at home exercises, trivia, virtual concerts, drive-by events and more. If you are age 50+ and would like access to the Senior Center classes please call Amanda Rigali at (310) 253-6715 or email info.seniorcenter@culvercity.org.

Senior Safer at Home Guide: Our Senior Safer at Home Guide has all the information on virtual classes, workshops, at home exercises, trivia, virtual concerts, drive-by events and more. Current classes include the following:
Heartfulness Meditation: Guided relaxation and meditation for seniors interested in learning meditation the heartfulness way.
Line Dancing On-line: Learn a variety of line dances and western struts from the comfort of your own living room.
Mind Body Dance On-line: A joyful mind-body workout blending movement and music.
Tai Chi On-line: A class focused on slow, circular stretching motions and bodily balance.
Yoga On-line: Improve posture, balance and coordination with physical exercise, breath control, positive thinking and meditation.
Zumba On-line: Experience a low impact workout featuring easy to follow Latin inspired dance moves.

April Showers Bring Meals Delivered to You!
Senior Nutrition Program: In collaboration with Jewish Family Services (JFS) the Culver City Nutrition Program continues to provide nutritionally balanced lunches to those age 60+. All meals provided during the Covid pandemic are frozen and delivered to your doorstep or via pick-up at the Senior Center. If you are interested in joining this program, please contact JFS at (323) 937-5843.
