Los Angeles County has partnered with several agencies to help reduce food insecurity and minimize risk while we are in the worst of the pandemic.
The initiative, called #LetsFeedLA, is currently offering Los Angeles County residents two food delivery services via phone: One a smartphone app (Tangelo), the other a voice-guided automated ordering service (Tangelo Voice). Both methods deliver food right to the recipient's door with contactless delivery. Eligible families can receive at least $600 to spend on prepacked grocery boxes delivered to their door.
Applicants must have proof of Los Angeles County residency. For more information and to apply to the program, please email Steven Trapasso, Nutrition Program Coordinator at Seeds of Hope at strapasso@ladiocese.org.Applications must be in by midnight on December 30, 2020.
