To learn more details about what we have in store for October check out the Disability Awareness Month 2020 page.

This resource includes:

  • Film recommendations to watch with your family
  • Disability Awareness Month Facts of the Day
  • At-Home inclusive games and activities
  • and more!

Although COVID-19 safety precautions keep us from holding the 17th Annual Abilities Carnival and Resource Fair, we are excited to keep the tradition alive by hosting a safe drive up event!

It will take place Sunday, October 25 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Culver City Senior Center. Participants in the drive up will receive a “carnival goodie bag” including the first ever Disability Awareness Month At-Home Activity Book, small prizes, candy and more.

The event is free of charge for youth, teens and adults of all ages but does require an RSVP. RSVP by calling (310) 253-6707.

If you have questions about any of our Disability Awareness Month activities or programs, contact Daniella Gutierrez, Recreation and Community Services Coordinator, via email or by calling (310) 253-6712.
