1. Earth Day “Isolutions”
Today is April 22, the 50th anniversary of Earth Day! We may be celebrating differently this year, but you can still do something good for yourself, the Earth, and our local environment in Culver City. Make every day Earth Day! Check out these 30 “Isolutions” for Coronavirus at the Earth Day website.
2. Adult Protective Services
Adult Protective Services (APS) provides a system of in person response to reports of abuse and self-neglect about developmentally disabled adults, physically and mentally disabled adults, and the elderly who may be victims of abuse.
Elder Abuse Hotline Call: (877) 4R SENIORS or (877) 477-3646

Cluttered, filthy living environment

4. West Los Angeles College Perimeter Roads and Paths Reopen
West Los Angeles College has notified the City that joggers, walkers, and bicycle riders may return to the campus perimeter. Please enjoy this community resource while practicing physical distancing: keep six-feet in between you and other people at all times.
5. Face Covering Guidance
Along with the County of Los Angeles Department of Public Health, we advise members of the general public to use a clean non-medical face covering anytime they will be in contact with other people who are not household members, in public or private places. If you cannot maintain six feet of physical distance between yourself and others, you must wear a face covering.
Culver City and LA County residents are required to wear a face covering over your nose and mouth if you are working at, shopping at or visiting a grocery store, restaurant or other essential businesses.
We’ve received a few additional questions about face coverings. Please find questions and answers noted below:
Do I need to wear a face covering on a walk with my household members?
This is encouraged, but not required. If you cannot maintain the physical distance of 6 feet between your immediate family and others, face coverings become required.
Do I need to wear a face covering while running or biking?
This is encouraged, but not required. Please note, you should not be jogging, running or biking with individuals outside of your immediate family at this time. If you cannot maintain the physical distance of 6 feet between your immediate family and others, face coverings become required.
