Please note that the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health (Public Health) tracks individuals who are positive for COVID-19 in L.A. County, including Culver City. The City does not have a complete tally of the number of individuals in Culver City who may have tested positive to date, as Public Health only releases that information on a countywide basis. Culver City urges residents to follow the latest recommendations of public health officials, including social distancing.
Culver City Unified School District Schools
Starting Monday, March 16, CCUSD schools will be in “dismissal” status. Students will not come to school starting that day.
Spring Break starts on March 23 and runs through April 3. The situation will be reevaluated at the end of Spring Break.
During this time, CCUSD will undertake a thorough cleaning of all schools.
The City’s PRCS Department is canceling all adult and youth sports and contract classes during the next four weeks. Considering CCUSD's decision to put schools in "dismissal" status until at least April 3, this now includes cancelation of 1) Preschool programs; 2) Afterschool programs; and 3) Spring Camps (March 23-April 3).
The City Council meeting previously scheduled for Monday, March 16th at 7:00 p.m. is being postponed. It will now take place as a teleconference meeting on Wednesday, March 18th at 7:00 p.m. Details on how to participate in the meeting can be found on the City of Culver City’s Agendas webpage.

State of California public health officials have issued new guidance, including the following recommendations:
Individuals should avoid non-essential gatherings.
Any gathering should be limited to no more than 250 people.
If you are holding a smaller event (less than 250 people), implement social distancing, which means keeping six feet of space or more between people.
For those who are at higher risk of serious illness (older adults, those with underlying medical conditions, and pregnant women), gatherings should be limited to no more than 10 people who are also following social distancing guidelines (keeping six feet or more of space between individuals). This includes gatherings at retirement facilities, assisted living facilities, and support groups.
Gatherings are defined as any event or convening that brings together people in a single room or single space at the same time, such as an auditorium, stadium arena, large conference room, meeting hall, cafeteria or any other indoor or outdoor space.
