NOTICE OF CITY COUNCIL PUBLIC HEARING

City initiated amendments to the Culver City Zoning Code and Building Code adopting standards and single family residential development regulations for new construction in the Culver Crest Neighborhood.

The City Council is pleased to invite your participation in a Public Hearing concerning the following:

The proposed City-initiated amendments affect portions of Culver City Municipal Code (CCMC), Title 15: Land Usage Section 15.02 – Buildings, Structures, and Equipment and 15.02.800 – Drainage System Required in Hillside Area, and adopting a Resolution Establishing the “H” Hillside Designation for Grading and Drainage Requirements in the Hillside Area and Title 17: Zoning Code; Section 17.260 – Overlay Districts.

The purpose of the Public Hearing is for the City Council to introduce by first reading, review, and to receive public input on the proposed Zoning Code Amendment. All members of the public are welcome to attend and participate in the public hearing.

|
|
|
The proposed Zoning Code Amendment (P2018-0223-ZCA) is within the scope of the Culver City General Plan Update Program EIR approved on September 24, 1996 (PEIR 1), the Culver City Redevelopment Plan Amendment and Merger Program Subsequent EIR approved on November 16, 1998 (PEIR 2), and no new significant information has been found that would impact either PEIR 1 or PEIR 2. Therefore, no new environmental analysis is required, pursuant to Sections 15162 and 15168 of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA).

The City Council agenda item reports are available for viewing online no later than 72 hours prior to the meeting date and time for regular meetings and no later than 24 hours prior to a special meeting or at the Planning Division counter located on the 2nd floor of City Hall.
